The
Academy of Driver Training & Development
- These are the terms
and conditions which the Academy of Driver Training & Development
agree to accept the booking of training. They represent an entire agreement
between you and the Academy and by signing the form you accept these terms
and agree that any terms and conditions, which you may supply
or have supplied to the Academy, will not apply.
- Telephone and provisional
bookings will be noted but will not be deemed to be binding on the Academy
and the Academy may resell the place provisionally reserved, unless and
until the Academy have received an official purchase order or booking
fee with the relevant booking details. Only official purchase orders or
completed Academy booking forms duly signed and returned within 10 working
days of the provisional booking will be accepted by the Academy of confirmation
of booking.
- The Academy will
on receipt of an official purchase order or booking fee issue an invoice,
which must be paid in full prior to course commencement excluding account
holding customers. Should you wish to cancel the booking please notify
the Academy within 12 days of course commencement, or in the event of
non attendance. Should you wish to send a substitute attendee please do
so but please give as much notice as possible.
- · We reserve
the right to vary the location and/or the designated speaker of any course,
but we ensure that alternatives are suitable for the purpose
- In the event of
The Academy canceling a course for insufficient attendance or circumstance
beyond our reasonable control notice will be given and the Academy will
in full settlement of it’s liability to you, refund all payments
made in full.
- All course material,
documentation, course handouts and similar items are subject to copyright
owned by The Academy and may not be reproduced in full or part without
written consent of The Academy. Should corporate customers require further
copies of such documentation for colleges of attendees they should contact
The Academy who may be prepared to sell such copies to them at a further
fee.
- The names and details
of attendees on all courses are confidential and we agree not to release
such details of other attendees to another third party.
- Reasonable care
has been taken to ensure that written materials available at courses and
the content of presentation is correct as at the date stated in the written
material. They take no account of update of law or practice beyond that
date. Written material should not be relied upon except by those who have
attended The Academy’s course and should be read in conjunction
with the instruction given at that course.
- You are responsible
for yourself and attendees whilst at the Academy, the course location
or accommodation provided by the Academy. You will indemnify The Academy
against any loss or damage or cost or claim incurred by the Academy as
a result of your or their behavior, acts or omissions. Any attendees who
behave in a manner deemed by The Academy to be disruptive to the course
or to other students may be excluded from the course and no refund of
fees will be made.
- The Academy accept
no liability for personal effects, motor vehicles or other items brought
on to any such premises by you or your attendees and you will indemnify
the Academy against any claim which may be made against the Academy for
their loss or damage.
Payment Terms
As stated above confirmation of a provisional booking comprises
of a signed application form with an official purchase order number or a
signed application form with a £100.00 booking fee. Confirmation should
be received by The Academy 10 working days of the provisional booking. The
balance of the course fee is payable in full no latter than 14 days before
the course commencement date.
Payment can be made by any of the following methods:
- Cash
- Personal Cheque
- Business Cheque
- Credit Card
Cheques should be made
payable to ‘Thomas Hardie Commercials’ and have the students
name and invoice number clearly written on the reverse.
